About

Pan Chameleon Hand Pan

Kieren first connected with hand pans in Paris, France in 2005. Kieren was inspired by this instrument and after couple of years playing hand pan he met Bill Brown from Caisa. Bill inspired him to learn more about hand pan tuning and the industry in general. Months later Kieren was introduced to another pan maker in Germany. Martin at Sunpan who shared his methods of pan making.

In 2012 Pan Chameleon was created as Kieren wanted to offer his own style of hand pans with the music community. After a long pan learning journey, about the scales and the methods etc, Kieren is now able to offer hand pans to the amazing world music community.

He is also now making cajons and some other instruments. The hand pan dimensions by Pan Chameleon are – 580mm diameter and 220mm high. Our other pan dimensions are 510mm diameter by 230mm high
